Winkbed offers some of the best luxury mattresses on the market. However, due to the expansive selection of comfort levels that WInkbed offers, it can be hard to tell what mattress best suits an individual sleeper's needs.
That’s why we’ve put together an in-depth comparison between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm comfort levels so sleepers can get a good idea of what each mattress is like and their features, and what would work best for a good night’s sleep.

Top Similarities and Top Differences of the Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm
The top similarities between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm are their price at $1499 each. They also have the same hybrid design of gel memory foam, poly foam, and coils. Additionally, all three boast the same edge support and are cooling with the Tencelⓡ cover and gel memory foam layer.
Despite having different firmness levels that drastically change how much a sleeper sinks into the bed, I like how Winkbed keeps all the pricing the same at $1499 for both Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm. And the Tencelⓡ cover made from eucalyptus-derived materials, along with the addition of gel memory foam, makes all three of these mattresses similarly cooling.
The top differences between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm are their Euro-top firmness levels. Additionally, the edge support is not as strong for Soft as it is for Luxury Firm or Firm, and how Luxury Firm has the most motion isolation power.
The Euro-top and underlying foam layers offer different firmness layers, seen explicitly in the second layer, where Luxury Fim and Firm have the same high-density foam. Soft instead has a pliable poly foam layer. This extra softness also plays a role in the edge support not being as strong as Luxury Firm or Firm. And due to Luxury Firm having that goldilocks firmness level, this mattress has more absorption power for motion isolation than Soft, which can be a bit too bouncy and giving, and Firm, which can be too rigid.

Construction & Design Between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm
The construction and design between Winkbed Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm are full of comfort and cooling features that sleepers can enjoy:
- Cooling Tencelⓡ Cover - A plush, cool-to-the-touch cover with eucalyptus-derived material, which has proven to have great cooling properties (1), covers the top of the mattress.
- Gel Memory Foam Layer - Two inches of gel memory foam are stitched into the Euro-top, enhancing the mattress’ cooling effect on sleepers for better sleep.
- Poly Foam Layer - Two inches of poly foam gives the mattress extra comfort.
- Poly Foam / Support Foam - Soft has one inch of poly foam, while Luxury firm and Firm have one inch of support foam for more support.
- Wrapped Coils - Each mattress has eight inches of pocketed coils for target back support
- Support Foam - To seal the mattress is one inch of support foam
I think the gel memory foam layers are Winkbed’s best feature, which hot sleepers can take advantage of the most.

The Firmness Between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm and Firm
The firmness between Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm is that Soft offers the softest firmness level with an ‘in the bed’ feel. In contrast, Luxury firm is a well-balanced firmness that still offers sinkage while still supporting the body. Firm, on the other hand, is a firmer model with an ‘on the bed’ feel, which I think those who need more support or don’t want to sink into their mattress will find useful.

Motion Transfer Comparison of Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm and Firm
The motion transfer between Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm are similar, with Luxury Firm taking the lead due to its well-balanced layers, followed by Soft. Firm has the least amount of motion isolation out of the three but still manages to isolate motion well compared to other mattresses.

Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm: Material
The Winkbed Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm are made of the same material, with the only key difference being the firmness of foam layers. Soft also opts for an extra poly foam layer instead of a support layer like Luxury Firm and Firm, which I think adds extra cloud-like comfort to Soft’s Euro-top.

Edge Support Between Winkbed Softer versus Firmer versus Luxury Firm
The edge support between all three mattresses is similar as all three have Extra-EdgeTM support. However, Soft’s soft layers tend to have sleepers sinking more on the edge, which I think may not work for those with mobility issues.

The Feel Difference Between Winkbed Softer versus Firmer versus Luxury Firm
The feel difference between Softer, Firmer, and Luxury Firm, is Softer has superior cushioning with a body-hugging ‘in the bed’ feel and exceptional comfort. Luxury Firm is right in the middle of soft and firm, still slow-adapting to the sleeper’s body while remaining supportive. Firm is cushioning while remaining firm, giving the sleeper an ‘on the bed’ feel for better spinal alignment. I think Firm works well for sleepers who don’t want to struggle to move in bed.

Price Between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm
The prices between Winkbed Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm are similar as all are priced at $1499. I think this is a handy feature for sleepers as price doesn’t affect which mattress sleepers have their eye on.
Sleeping positions Between Winkbed Soft vs. Luxury Firm vs. Firm

The sleeping positions between Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm are well-rounded. Soft may be better suited for lightweight combo sleepers, as it may be too soft for heavy sleepers. Luxury Firm is well-balanced, meaning it may work for all types of sleeping positions. Firm may work for heavy sleepers on their back or stomach, but may be too firm for heavy sleepers on their side.
Wrapping Up
Despite having the same price, the firmness difference between each mattress is easy to see. Soft and Luxury Firm is great for couples who want motion isolation, or sleepers who want more body-hugging comfort and sinkage for overall pressure relief. Firm is better for heavier sleepers or those who want an emphasis on spinal alignment to help ease sore muscles and tensionFor more mattress reviews, we’ve reviewed some of the best mattresses available on the market to make sure you’re choosing the right one.
